Group Counseling

Group Counseling Allows Support and Guidance from Your Peers

In addition, our individual counseling, Georgia Family Crisis Solutions (GFCS) in Augusta, GA, also offers group counseling. Our group counseling session involves a group of individuals working together with one of our trained counselors. The group members share a common concern or issue, and the purpose of group counseling is to provide support, guidance, and a safe space for individuals to share their thoughts and feelings.

Group counseling can be a cost-effective and effective way to address a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, and relationship problems. The group setting provides a sense of community, reduces isolation, and allows individuals to learn from the experiences of others.
